He began in the 70s his collaboration with Piero Dorazio, and become his assistant for over 10 years.

When Piero Dorazio founded, together with other artists, the International Center of Ceramics of Montesanto, Marini assumed the position of director, which he would hold for 15 years.

In the 1980s he received his first critical attention, he held personal and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad

The decorative signs, the colors and the technique used for this collection, reflect the pictorial characteristics of this artist.
